Syn-star was created in August 2002 by Giles Cleverley.

Initially in the music and Telecomms market with a store in Chapel Street, Petersfield.
Soon branched in IT support for business clients, then in 2004 took over the ‘Phone shop’ in the Square, Petersfield and creating the first syn-star PC Store. We soon become Microsoft partners enabling us to fixed all tyes of laptop, desktop and server. This started the fixed price gauranteed repair and we would attract users from East Meon, liphook, Bordon and then across through Lavant, Emsworth, Hayling Island to Chichester. Then though Clanfield, Horndean, Denmead and Rowlands castle.
In 2005 took over Sandys computer in Southsea and started to repair Laptop and desktops from our store in Albert Road. In 2009 we opened the North End store, as we felt there was a requirment thoughout Copnor, Fratton, Cosham, Purbrook, Waterlooville and Cowplain.
